Modular Emergency Nightlatch 8760

Application:

Locks for exit doors offering a high degree of security, but with unrestricted exit in an emergency. Ideally suited for emergency doors in hotels, factories, hospitals, schools, offices etc.

Features:

• Available with backset 50 or 70 mm.

• Bolt deadlocks automatically when door is closed.

• Emergency exit ‘break dome’ thumbturn for non key-holders.

• Striking plate included.

• Latchbolt of steel for fire-rated doors.

• Can be complemented with exit device accessories.

• Can be combined with electric strikes.

• A microswitch can be fitted to enable an alarm or other signal to be activated by use of either the escape function or key and escape function.

Function:

Latchbolt is retracted with key, thumbturn or exit device accessory. The lock back mechanism in the faceplate has the following functions: The latchbolt cannot be locked back. Lighter spring for use with emergency exit break-dome thumbturn.
