Low iron extra-clear glass.
Low iron glass is extra-clear (so called due to its low iron oxide content) and provides a higher degree of transparency and light transmission when compared to normal float glass.
Low iron glass can be manufactured with cut outs and holes and be CNC or water jet shaped to drawings or rigid templates and UV Bonded (subject to manufacturing tolerances). Gx Glass produces glass to British and European standards strength and flexibility in accordance with BS EN 12150 and safety up to BS EN 12600 Class 1.
The glazing is available in a range of options dependent on required application, contact manufacturer for more information.
