Domestic and commercial use flooring, including over underfloor heating, bonded, unbonded and floating.

Description

Innovative liquid cement screed, applied without the need for a curing agent.


Features and benefits:

  • Dries in half the time of a traditional sand/cement screed or standard anhydrite flowing screeds.
  • Suitable for domestic and commercial use flooring.
  • Allows foot traffic in 24-48 hours after placing.
  • Suitable to receive non-moisture sensitive floor finishes between 7 and 14 days.
  • Laitance free – no site revisits for sanding.
  • Ona single visit, over 1000 m² can easily be laid.
  • Compatible with all types of primers, grouts and adhesives and can even be laid in wet rooms.
  • Maximum bay sizes between 200 and 250 m² dependent on length to width ratio and room shape. Aspect ratio can exceed 4:1.
  • Drying shrinkage is significantly reduced compared to other cementitious systems.
  • Longfloor IntegraCure® binder contains 95% recycled material as verified under ISO 1402.


Technical characteristics:


  • Floor flatness: SR2 as described in BS 8204 is achievable.
  • Compressive strength, at 28 days: ≥25 N/mm². Flexural strength: ≥6 N/mm² . Higher strength versions are available upon request.
  • Fresh wet density: 2100–2200 kg/m³.
  • Dry density: 1950–2050 kg/m³.
  • Appearance/ colour: Cement grey fluid screed mix subject to local sands and cement sources.


Specification (To BS EN 13813:2002):


  • Flow range: 280–300 mm; target: 290 mm.
  • Maintenance of flow: >3 hours.
  • Fire rating to BS 476 Part 4): Non-combustible/ A1 rating.
  • Drying shrinkage: ≤300 μm/m.
  • pH: ≥10.
  • Excellent thermal conductivity ranging from 1.9 to 2.6 W/m·K (dependent on raw material package).
  • Minimum thickness: Cover to underfloor heating pipes: 25 mm; Unbonded: 30 mm; Floating: 40 mm; Bonded: 25 mm. (Note these are minimum thicknesses, not nominal).
  • Maximum thickness: 100 mm.
