Application

Suitable use for:

Single swing doors. For use on both right and left handed doors.
Can be used with any perimeter seal.
Can be used with any threshold plate.

Description

A slimline, mortised automatic drop seal featuring a high efficiency mechanism, which lifts the seal clear of the floor as soon as the door is opened by a few millimetres, resulting in lower door operating forces.

Features and benefits:

Requires no power connection.
Self-levelling on uneven floors; seal height can be adjusted independently of fixing screws.
Tested for acoustic performance with BS EN ISO 10140-2: 2010.
Meets the smoke leakage performance requirements of BS 9999 and is used for sealing the threshold of door assemblies against leakage of ambient temperature smoke, as defined in BS 476: Part 31.1: 1983.
Suitable for use on timber fire doors for up to 60 minutes under conditions of BS 476: Pt.20/22: 1987 and BS EN 1634-1: 2014.
Tested for reliability, the seal completedcycles without failure.
Minimum/ maximum gap size:1 mm/ 13 mm.
Acoustic performance: Weighted Sound Reduction Index (Rw): 37 dB.
