• For fire rated systems, two continuous 6 mm beads of Knauf Intumescent and Acoustic Mastic should be installed underneath the floor track, between the head track and board fillet(s) and between the board fillet(s) and the soffit.
• A bead of Knauf Intumescent and Acoustic Mastic is also required to the board perimeter edges to achieve a fire and acoustic rated seal to the structure. 
• Knauf Sealant can be used as a perimeter seal for non-fire rated junctions/ perimeters to achieve an acoustic seal only.
