Application

Suitable for covering staircases down to tunnels, or for areas where equipment or supplies (spare parts, generators, substations) may need to be lifted in and out relatively frequently. Also suitable for covering tunnels or large underground chambers.

Description

Hinged external manhole cover for block paved areas.

Features and benefits:

Manufactured from stainless steel (grade 304L or 316L) or galvanized steel.

Laser cut lettering on the lifting corners to indicate services.

Incorporates Kent lift-assist mechanical struts. Lift assist automatic watertight option also available.

Support system built into the door panels.

Hinged with a robust stainless steel hinge, and has a keying in mesh to allow block adhesion with epoxy mortar.

Opens to 90°.

Safety stay as standard.
