IWA 14 HVM shallow static bollard - 7.2t at 50 mph.
Suitable for high security sites where there is limited foundation depth (typically inner city), however a complete HVM Perimeter is required. Also, public realm, crowded places and/or pedestrianized areas where vehicles are not permitted. Shallow Static HVM Bollards are also used between automatic HVM products to ensure the installation meets PAS 69 installation guidance of 1.2 m maximum distance between upright faces.
The Shallow Static Terra Jupiter Bollard is a Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) Terra Bollard which has been impact tested to the International IWA 14 Specification, stopping a 7.2 tonne vehicle travelling at 50 mph. IWA 14 Classification Code: V/7200[N2A]/80/90:8.7 Impact tested in a set of three bollards.
A range of sleeves finishes and tops also available.
Static HVM Terra Bollards have been proven to stop vehicles, providing HVM, counter terrorist, impact-resistant barriers preventing Vehicle as a Weapon attacks.
