Description

Two-coat system for encapsulating, insulating and waterproofing asbestos roof sheeting.

The basecoat is a spray applied primer insulation layer which will reduce heat losses through the roof. The topcoat is a spray applied, flexible waterproof coating which creates a seamless monolithic protection layer for the asbestos and insulation basecoat.

  • Modulus (to ASTM 638): At 100%: 6.8 MPa. At 300%: 10 MPa.
  • Tear strength (to ASTM D624): 65 kN/m.
  • Abrasive resistance (to ASTM D4060): 150 mg (maximum).
  • Gel time: 15 seconds.
  • Touch dry: 30 seconds.
  • Cure: 80% of maximum tensile strength is attained within 24 hours at 20ºC.
