illbruck SY001 Thermal Window Installation System


The innovative illbruck SY001 Thermal Window Installation System allows for optimum installation and sealing of windows in the insulation layer outside of the window opening, where windows are installed projecting forwards of the backing wall. The installation frame is easy to install and the window is sealed to provide weather and air tightness with excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties.

The PR007, PR010 and PR011 profiles are manufactured from a rigid recycled PU material which is bonded to the backing wall using illbruck SP350 hybrid high grab adhesive. The adhesive transfers all forces due to wind, self-weight of system and window dead-load (mechanical fixings are recommended to resist the deadload at the bottom of the window) to the supporting wall.

The windows are attached using distance screw fixings and sealed with illbruck TP652 Trio+ which provides an ideal three level perimeter seal (weather and air-tightness and thermal insulation). In order to facilitate easy fitting of adjacent insulation, the illbruck PR008 or PR012 insulation wedge can be attached to the PR007/ PR010 window installation frame using illbruck SP350.
