Ecophon Hygiene Performance™ Plus A is an easy-to-clean, sound-absorbing ceiling, suitable for humid areas. The ceilings withstand advanced cleaning, such as steam and high/ low-pressure washing, on a regular basis. The surface is resistant to common detergents and disinfectants. The panel is low-emitting, and thus ensures high indoor air quality; it is resistant to mould and bacteria growth, and withstands HPV cleaning.
The system consists of Ecophon Hygiene Performance™ Plus A tiles and Ecophon corrosion class C3 compatible Connect™ grid systems, with an approximate weight of 3.5 kg/m² (20 mm) and 5 kg/m² (40 mm). The tiles are manufactured from high-density glass wool. The visible surface has an Akutex™ HS coating; the edges are painted, and the back of the tile is covered with a cleanable painted surface.
The tiles should be secured to the grid with Connect Hygiene clips in order to withstand pressure during cleaning, and to minimize dirt traps.
