Hybrid Series 2 Casement Window System
Description

The Hybrid Series 2 are available as either 125 or 150 mm high performance window system which achieves very high thermal insulation values providing low U-Values.

Comprising the insulating benefits of timber on the inside and the durability of aluminium on the outside, the system includes top hung, side hung and fixed light combination windows.

Offers a clean symmetrical look, with aesthetically pleasing appearance, identical regardless of whether the window opens or is a fixed pane.

Construction:

  • Constructed using mitred joints on both the aluminium and timber frames.
  • Using a mechanical corner joint on the aluminium frame and dovetail keys on the timber frame enables the frames to be constructed without the need for complicated production processes.
  • Integral transoms and mullions are inserted by scribing the ends and screw fixed to the frame.
  • A sealant is used on all metal joints, the timber mainframe sections are mitre jointed using a unique closed joint method.
  • Opening window frames are designed to be inserted directly into the outer frames using friction stays.
