Multiple Helifix techniques used in combination to result in comprehensive and effective repairs to structural and non-structural masonry.
Designed to produce effective and comprehensive repairs to cracked and/or damaged masonry, the system comprises Helibar stainless steel grade 304 or 316 helical bar and HeliBond grout.
HeliBar is available in 4, 5, 6,8, 10 and 12 mm diameters and in lengths up to 7 m.
Typical applications include areas where masonry has cracked and failed as a result of ground movement, weathering or increased loads and stresses. Correct diagnosis is essential to establish whether additional remedial measures will be needed in addition to superstructure reinforcement.
The Helibeam system provides stress-free horizontal bed-joint reinforcement which ties the masonry together. Dependent on the severity of the repair to be carried out, the Helibeam system can be used in combination with Cemties, BowTies and Dryfix products from the Helifix range, to provide the required lateral and vertical restraint.
