A fully developed economical sound insulation system between separating floors using timber joists.

Features:

  • Can be used in new build, conversion or refurbishment developments.
  • Provides a one-hour fire resistance at ceiling level.
  • Building Regulations Approved Document E (E&W), Technical Handbook Section 5 (Scotland) and Technical Handbook G (Northern Ireland) compliant.

Components:

  • Hush Panel 48.
  • Hush Bond - to glue joints.
  • 22 mm thick particleboard deck - supplied by others.
  • Hush Seal 20 - to seal perimeters.
  • Timber joists - supplied by others.
  • Hush Slab 100 - fitted between the joists.
  • Hush Bars - screw fixed to the underside of joists at 600 mm centres and at right angles.
  • Two layers of 15 mm thick Gyproc Soundbloc plasterboard - supplied by others.
