HALSPAN® R30 (BOM‐LCK‐106)

Guidance for specification option:

30 minutes resistance. 1 mm intumescent protection to be fitted under the lock forend and strike plate.

HALSPAN® R60 (BOM‐LCK‐104)

Guidance for specification option:

60 minutes resistance. 1 mm intumescent protection to be fitted either side of the lock body and under the lock forend and strike plate.

HALSPAN® R90 (BOM‐LCK‐102)

Guidance for specification option:

90 minutes resistance. 2 mm intumescent protection to be fitted either side of the lock body, onto the lock spine and under the lock forend and strike plate.

HALSPAN® R120 (BOM‐LCK‐103)

Guidance for specification option:

120 minutes resistance. 2 mm intumescent protection to be fitted either side of the lock body, onto the lock spine and under the lock forend and strike plate.

Standard product features

Construction:

  • Case: Pierced to accept 30 mm and 38 mm centre bolts through fixing escutcheons, and 38 mm centre horizontally and diagonally opposed bolt through fixing furniture.
  • Striker plate (R90 and R120 only): Extended length strike.
  • Latchbolt: Brass, reversible. Projection: 11–12 mm (dependent on variant).
  • Deadbolt: Brass, with two hardened steel rollers. Throw: 14 mm.
  • Follower: Brass, to suit 8 mm square spindle. One‐way action. Sprung to suit un-sprung lever handle furniture.

Operation:

  • Latchbolt: Operated by lever handle from either side.
  • Deadbolt: Operated by key from either side using a double cylinder, or by key outside and thumbturn inside using a single cylinder with turn.

- HALSPAN® R30 and R60:

  • Lockcase: 88 mm.
  • Backset: 60 mm.
  • Centres: 72 mm.

- HALSPAN® R90 and R120:

  • Lockcase: 78 mm.
  • Backset: 57 mm.
  • Centres: 47 mm.

The R90 and R120 variants are available in deadlock only and sashlock/ deadlock options - consult manufacturer and insert requirements.
