A step over unit that allows safe navigation for personnel across pipes, boundary walls or a network of cables whilst preventing any damage or movement to the pipes, boundary walls and cables.

Built to suit each site, a step over can be made any height, width or length and can be supplied ready-made. GRP is less than half the weight of the steel equivalent, so most step overs can be placed manually – no heavy lifting equipment is required. It is also long-lasting and low-maintenance.

Typically constructed using QuartzGrip® Standard Mesh Grating and stairs with a SafeRail™ ergonomic GRP handrail, they can be made to user specifications. As with all our fabrications, Step Overs are built to a minimum weight capacity of 5 kN/m² - twice the industry standard.
