A pre cast concrete permeable grass paving system available in three depths, 83mm, 103mm and 125mm.
Application
- Slopes, a non-woven geo-textile is recommended in water flow applications.
- Overspill parking.
- General parking.
- Embankments.
- Amenity areas.
Not recommended for use in heavily trafficked applications: refer to the cast in situ system Grasscrete.
Description
A permeable paving system which permits natural drainage through its network of soil pockets. This enables it to be used as a Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SUDS). Each block features an interconnect lug that which locates the blocks exactly in position.
Features and benefits:
- The perimeter of installations can be finished with Grasskerb dry fixed pre-formed kerb units enabling a free-formed concealed edge to be achieved.
- Designed to overcome some of the difficulties associated with early pre-cast systems.
- Level upper surface provides a safer walking platform and a lower level of traffic vibration than is often associated with studded blocks.
- The interconnecting lugs help to form a tight interaction with neighbouring blocks to limit movement.
- Continuous concrete surround to each soil pocket.
