Application

For twin installations on roof pitches between 15–55°. Suitable for one and a half-storey properties.

Description

Features and benefits:

  • Overall width of the combination, including frame gaps, should not exceed 2780 mm without prior endorsement by VELUX.
  • Standard distance between side frames is 18 mm.
  • The same inner and outer profiles are used for roof window and vertical window.
  • Combining sloping roof windows and vertical window below to expand the view and increase daylight. Ideal for one and a half-storey properties.
  • Bottom handle for convenient opening of upper window.
  • Powerful gentle springs make it easy to open.
  • Rotates 180° and locks in place for easy cleaning of outer pane.


Glazing:

  • 6.8 mm laminated inner pane with low-e coating; 15 mm Argon filled cavity; 4 mm toughened outer pane.
  • Thermal performance (U-value):1.3 W/m²K.
  • Sound insulation (Rw): 35 dB.
  • Light Transmittance (Tv): 0.68.
  • Total solar energy transmittance (g): 0.46.


Vertical window:

– Fixed element (VIU):

Two standard sizes; fourteen non-standard sizes available to order. Note: Vertical window must be same width as roof window.

  • Code EFL 0022B: For standard installation into slate up to 8 mm thick of two roof windows over two vertical windows with an 18 mm frame gap, roof pitch 15–55°.
  • Code EFL 0022C: For standard installation into slate up to 8 mm thick of two roof windows over two vertical windows with a 50 mm frame gap, roof pitch 15–55°.
  • Code EFL 0022E: For standard installation into slate up to 8 mm thick of two roof windows over two vertical windows with a 100 mm frame gap, roof pitch 15–55°.
  • Code EFL 0032B: For standard installation into slate up to 8 mm thick of three roof windows over three vertical windows with an 18 mm frame gap, roof pitch 15–55°.
