Application

For combination installations on roof pitches between 15–55° (75°).

Description

Features and benefits:

  • Can be installed in roof pitches 15–55° and up to 75° with special springs.
  • Opens to any positions up to 45° to allow panoramic, uninterrupted views.
  • Meets requirements for emergency escape (except size CK04).
  • The window is opened by means of a handle placed at the bottom sash.
  • Sash can also be rotated 180° and locks in place for the ease of cleaning of the outer pane.


Distance between side frames:

100–400 mm (100 mm is standard).

  • Thermal performance (U-value): 1.1 W/m²K.
  • Sound insulation (Rw): 35 dB.

Energy efficiency installation collars:

  • Insulation collar – Code BDX: Optimizes the insulation around the window frame by preventing heat loss and eliminating cold bridges. BDX 2011E variant Includes underfelt collar BFX.
  • Underfelt collar – Code BFX: Ensures a weathertight seal between the roof window and the roof.
  • Vapour barrier collar – Code BBX: Provides vapour control and air permeability seal.

Flashings are available in materials and finishes to match roof window cladding.

- EKL 0021E:

  • For standard coupled installation, two roof windows installed side by side with 100 mm frame gap.
  • For slate up to 8 mm thick.
  • Roof pitch 15-90°.

- EKL S0311:

  • For standard triple installation, three windows installed side by side with 100 mm frame gaps.
  • For slate up to 8 mm thick.
  • Roof pitch 15-90°.

- EKL S0122:

  • For standard duo installation, two windows installed one above the other with 100 mm frame gap.
  • For slate up to 8 mm thick.
  • Roof pitch 15-90°.

- EKL S0222:

  • For standard quattro installation, two windows installed side by side above two windows installed side by side with 100 mm frame gaps both horizontally and vertically.
