Description

Manually operated, centre pivot roof windows with additional vertical elements for twin installations on roof pitches between 15–55°.

Overall width of the combination, including frame gaps, should not exceed 2780 mm without prior endorsement by VELUX.

Standard distance between side frames is 18 mm.

The same inner and outer profiles are used for roof window and vertical window.

Features:

  • Combining sloping roof windows and vertical window below to expand the view and increase daylight. Ideal for one and a half-storey properties.

Roof window operation:

  • One pull of top control bar allows background ventilation whilst the window remains securely closed. One further pull opens the window.
  • Rotates 180° and locks in place for easy cleaning of outer pane.

Warranty:

  • Ten-year guarantee for the windows and panes.
  • Three-year guarantee for the electrical items and blinds.

Vertical window:

– Side hung option (VFA and VFB):

  • Handing: VFA is left hand hung. VFB is right hand hung.
  • Inward opening.
  • Opening light is operated by means of a handle at the side of the sash. Ventilation is obtained through a limited opening, for safety. It is also possible to open the window completely for easy cleaning of the exterior pane, and for use as emergency escape.
  • One standard size; eight non-standard sizes. Note: Vertical window must be same width as roof window.

– Bottom hung option (VFE):

  • VFE is inward opening.
  • Opening light is operated by means of a handle at the top of the sash. Ventilation is obtained through a limited opening, for safety. A release button makes it possible to open the window completely for easy cleaning of the exterior pane.
