A range of strips and pre-shaped blocks for fire-stopping gaps.
A range of strips and pre-shaped blocks of ROCKWOOL high density stone wool insulation for fire-stopping gaps at junctions of fire-resistant walls and floors. Linear and Trapezoidal Firestop Systems have been developed to provide up to four hours' fire-stopping at the junctions of compartment walls and floors. Solutions include masonry walls with a density of at least 400 kg/m³, and include both fire integrity and insulation criteria for concrete decks, composite decks and simple profiled sheeting.

Standard product features | Length: 1000 mm. Dovetail infill strips: Narrow, rectangular compressible stone wool insulation strips for pinched installation, for fire-stopping dovetail-shaped voids in nominated deck profiles. The products contains no blowing agents with ozone depletion potential (ODP) or global warming potential (GWP). Duo-Slabs are CFC-HCFC-HFC-free and 97% recyclable, and will not react with metal components or cause loss of plasticiser from PVC cable and pipes. |

Rectangular stone wool insulation strips, minimum 5% compression, for fire-stopping linear gaps between head of wall and flat soffit or when trapezoidal deck voids are within the line of the wall. – ROCKWOOL Linear Firestop 2B: The 2B fire stop is trapezoidal and is available in a dovetail or a specific floor deck profile.
