Fire-resisting (E120) acoustic roller shutters.
Suitable for any application where fire and sound compartmentation are required. Suited to school kitchens in multi-function school halls where regulations dictate that fire resistance is necessary, but where a sound break is also essential to avoid disruption from the kitchen staff.
Larger applications include exhibition halls where its incorporation allows sound and fire resistance at relatively lower cost than other door types, such as movable walls.
The shutter achieves a sound reduction of 22 dB Rw with a maximum of 25 dB (at 2000 Hz).
Fire-tested to EN 1634-1 and rated E120 or E90 (dependent on size), in accordance with EN 13501-2, EN13241, EN16034 and EN 15269-10. CE Marked accordingly.

Low-level push button station with emergency stop button. A pull cord and hand chain are provided for use in the event of power failure. In a fire condition, activation is initiated by an incoming 24 V DC signal (037amp) from the fire alarm system. Closure is by gravity with a controlled descent.
