Description

A 240-minute fire protection barrier, with the benefit of 30 minutes' irradiance. The product is self-closing and can be installed in suspended or solid ceilings and comes complete with back-up power supply. Maximum widths of 20 000 mm with an overlapping configuration, heights up to 6000 mm.

Standard product features

Box:

The curtain assembly comprises a box housing which includes the motorized barrel and wrapped curtain. The box is attached to channel section guides at each end – these guides are the main fixing point for the entire system.

Curtain:

The curtain is manufactured from a woven fibreglass and stainless steel fabric; in many cases this is coated with intumescent silicone.

Guide rails:

100 x 50 mm galvanized steel.

Head box:

Material: Galvanized steel.

Up to 4 m high: 180 x 180 mm.

Over 4 m: 210 x 210 mm.

Bottom rail:

Industry-standard ‘bell’ formed from galvanized steel.

Operation:

Single phase electric through 24 VDC motor.

Controls:

Supplied with gravity failsafe control panel with inbuilt lead-acid battery support.

Product Options

Finish:

Head box, guides and bottom rail are galvanized and can be powder coated as required to any standard RAL or BS 4800 colour. Curtains are silver grey or charcoal finish, dependent on specification.
