Minimum density 640 kg/m³.
Timber quality and moisture content in accordance with BS EN 942.
Perimeter liner and vertical mullions: Minimum depth 104 mm x minimum thickness 32 mm.
Door mullion/ frame and transoms: Minimum depth 104 mm x minimum thickness 44 mm.
Flush bead: Minimum depth (to suit glass) x minimum thickness 27 mm.
- MDF:
Minimum density 700 kg/m³ edge lipped with 4–9 mm hardwood timber.
Moisture content in accordance with BS EN 942.
Perimeter liner/ door and vertical mullions/ transoms: Minimum depth 104 mm x minimum thickness 45 mm.
Flush bead: Minimum depth (to suit glass) x minimum thickness 27 mm.
