FD240 Fire Door

Hinged steel fire door with 240 minutes fire resistance, suitable for use as emergency escape doors in industrial environments, commercial premises, offices and schools. Doors are supplied with thresholds and seals as required and can be fitted with vision panels or air transfer louvres.

Fire resistance:

  • The CERTIFIRE third party accreditation scheme verifies the quality of the door product and gives reassurance that the product is both Safe and Secure. Standard Fire Door configurations also available.
  • Fire resistance to BS EN1634-1: 240 minutes.

Size (structural opening):

  • Width (maximum): 2640 mm.
  • Height (maximum): 2795 mm.

Larger structural openings can be accommodated by the use of side panels and over panels.


  • Firelite ceramic glass is a unique type of fire-rated glass that can endure intensive heat from fire as well as the thermal shock of water used in fire fighting. It is clear, without unsightly reinforcing wires.
  • Impact resistance (BS EN 12600): Class 2B.


Available latched or unlatched. A full range of personnel and fire escape hardware options are available, with external access handles and knob sets as required.
