Application
EXAFOAM HD is typically bonded to an existing structure or previously poured concrete slab using a suitable contact adhesive. If the joint is to be sealed using a joint sealant then a plastic strip joint former should be placed on top of the EXAFIBRE which is removed once the concrete is poured to form a rebate for the sealant to fill.
Description
EXAFOAM HD is a high-density close cell polyethylene fillerboard which is used to form and fill expansion joints between adjacent cast in-situ concrete.
When installed it provides excellent support to join sealants and is particularly suitable for application in water retaining structures.
