Description

Earthwool® Acoustic Floor Slab Plus is used for the acoustic insulation of separating floors to meet the requirements of a floating floor treatment in the Robust Details (England and Wales E-FC-1, E-FC-2 and E-FS-1). Earthwool® Acoustic Floor Slab Plus is an extra high density (nominal 140 kg/m³), compression resistant, non-combustible, Rock Mineral Wool slab made with ECOSE® Technology, a no-added formaldehyde binder derived from rapidly renewable materials instead of traditional petro-based chemicals used in other insulation products and is classified as zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and zero global warming potential (GWP).

Features and benefits:

  • Non-combustible A1 Euroclass Reaction to Fire classification.
  • Good sound absorption characteristics.
  • Significantly improves sound insulation reducing the amount of sound energy transferred from one side of the floor to the other.
  • Products are suitable for use with a range of constructions registered in the Robust Details Handbook.
