Description

A heavy duty waterproofing system based polyurethane modified methacrylates.

Features and benefits:

  • Uses polyurethane-methacrylate (PUMA) technology with the high elasticity and crack bridging qualities of polyurethane (PU), and the rapidity of methyl methacrylate (MMA).
  • 100% waterproof and ultraviolet (UV) protected.
  • Fast curing: 30 minutes at 15°C.
  • High resistance at both low and high temperatures.
  • No primer needed on most roof surfaces.
  • Can be applied at very low temperatures (0°C).
  • High vapour permeability.
  • Can be applied using a rake, roller or rubber squeegee.
  • Resistant to plant roots, dynamic and static indentation and water ageing.
  • CE marked (ETA-05/0238).

- Liquid state:

  • Density: 1.36 g/mL.
  • Solids: 100%.
  • Consumption: 2.8 kg/m² in two layers, to obtain 2 mm thickness.
  • Pot life (at 15–20°C): +15 minutes.
  • Curing time (at 15°C, 50% relative humidity): +30 minutes.
  • Rain resistant: +20 minutes.
  • Application temperature: 0–30°C.

- Cured state:

  • E-modulus (to ISO 527): 23.7 MPa (not aged). 26.3 MPa (after 200 days, 80°C) and 33.7 MPa (after 1000 MJ/m² UV radiation).
  • Tensile strength: 10.7 MPa (not aged). 11 MPa (after 200 days, 80°C) and 8.07 MPa (after 1000 MJ/m² UV radiation).
  • Elongation: 283% (not aged). 263% (after 200 days, 80°C) and 225% (after 1000 MJ/m² UV radiation).
  • Reaction to fire (to EN 13501-1 and DIN ENV 1187-1): Euroclass E.
