Description

Dortek hygienic lead lined doors are manufactured from high technology engineering composites using a unique closed mould process. This creates a strong, uniform product with no seams or joins on the door surface and no voids, holes or crevices within for bacteria to harbour.

The doorset incorporates lead sheeting in a range of thicknesses. The lead lining extends through the door frames, forming an effective barrier to radiation in all directions.

The doors are free of timber and other organic materials that promote bacterial growth. This makes them ideally suited to areas requiring maximum hygiene and cleanability. Extremely strong and durable, yet light and easy to operate. The doors built-in colour is aesthetically pleasing and requires no maintenance.

40 mm thick with a 2.5 mm thick seamless hygienic glass-fibre reinforced moulded polyester facing and a 35 mm thick vermiculite board core with density 380 kg/m³ and thermal conductivity of 0.05 W/mK.

- Finish:

Smooth non-porous gelcoat finish.

Vision panels:

Triple glazed lead lined laminate stepped safety glass. Positioned 165 mm (minimum) from the leading edge or centrally in width.

Track:

Anodized aluminium rail system with nylon bearings.

Guide:

Internal bottom track with nylon guide.
