Application

Designed for use as a high performance, partial bond underlay membrane, and is suitable for use within cold-applied roofing systems. It can be applied to a wide range of substrates and is compatible with all common bituminous vapour control layers and cap sheets.

Description

A cold-applied, self-adhesive bituminous underlay which is saturated and coated with high quality styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) modified bitumen. It has a tough 200 g/m² glass fibre reinforcement and is manufactured with six separate release films on its underside to enable partial bond application.

  • Tensile properties maximum tensile force (to DIN EN 12311-1): ≥1000/ 1000 N/50 mm.
  • Tensile properties elongation (to DIN EN 12311-1): ≥2 / 2%.
  • Flexibility at low temperatures (to DIN EN 1109): ≤-30°C.
  • Resistance to thermal distortion (to DIN EN 1110): ≥+ 115/ +100°C.
  • Chemical resistance: Water-resistant and is resistant to watery solutions of salt, diluted non-oxidising acids and bases. Aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, as well as chlorine hydrocarbons, oils and greases may loosen the product and should therefore be avoided.
