Application
Aluminium cover plates for floor and wall expansion joints with medium to large horizontal movement requirements. Suitable for retrofit applications.
Description
Floor applications:
A simple, surface mounted aluminium cover plate that sits above the floor finish. Ramped edges help provide a smooth transition for wheeled traffic and minimize the risk of trip hazard.
Wall applications:
Simple, surface mounted aluminium plates for fast installation over most wall finishes. Suitable for retrofit applications, the PC series cover plate for walls is suitable for medium to large horizontal movement requirements. Plates have a natural anodized finish as standard, but can be painted, or supplied powder coated, to blend in with the surrounding walls.
Features and benefits:
- Joint width: up to 100 mm.
- Horizontal movement: up to +90/-100 mm.
- Vertical movement: ±2 mm.
- Lateral movement: ∞ (Infinite, restricted by site conditions).
- Load capability: 250 kg point load.
- Fixing:
- Floor fixings (by others) to suit substrate at 450 mm centres and to achieve minimum 40 mm embedment.
- Wall fixings (by others) to suit substrate at 450 mm centres.
Stainless steel options can be provided upon request; consult manufacturer for details.
