Application
Floor expansion joints in car parks and warehouses, where robust covers offering multi-directional movement are required.
Description
A collection of all metal expansion joint covers designed specifically for parking structures. Featuring a patented turnbar housing which reduces lateral load damage and a specially designed centre plate to offer the system maximum strength. KB joints are supplied with a reinforced polyethylene Moisture Barrier as standard.
Features and benefits:
- Recess mounted aluminium floor joint covers.
- For interior and exterior applications, compatible with concrete, paving and bituminous finishes.
- Joint width: up to 200 mm.
- Horizontal movement: up to +115 mm/ -125 mm.
- Vertical movement: up to ±12 mm.
- Lateral movement: up to ±100 mm.
- Load capability: 1000 kg point load.
- Fixings:
- Floor fixings (by others) to suit substrate at 450 mm centres and to achieve minimum 40 mm embedment.
- Wall fixings (by others) to suit substrate at 450 mm centres.
