Multipurpose interior/exterior primer, sealer, undercoat.
Application
Suitable for properly prepared substrates and surfaces including masonry, timber, block, cement render, concrete, metal, MDF, plasterboard, and previously painted surfaces.
Baxta Engineered Coatings produce a range of products that are specifically developed to work in combination to match different substrates. CovaCoat should be used in accordance with specific Baxta installation requirements as the second coat in one of the following systems:
High performance render system:
- 1st coat, Baxta Screeded Level Render
- 2nd coat, Baxta CovaCoat Primer
- 3rd coat, Baxta Maxicap Elastometric
- 4th coat, Baxta Maxicap Elastometric
Cementitious textured paint system:
- 1st coat, Baxta Flexible Mineral Polymer
- 2nd coat, Baxta CovaCoat Primer
- 3rd coat, Baxta Maxicap Elastomeric
- 4th coat, Baxta Maxicap Elastomeric
Description
Baxta CovaCoat offers superb optimum performance of the complete coating system by stabilising irregularities in substrate absorption and mechanical strength.
It speeds the application, controls the drying and ensures strong adhesion of topcoats to the substrate.
On concrete, cement render and mortar joints, the use of CovaCoat primer minimises the threat of loss of adhesion or other problems that may arise due to the presence of residual alkali salts.
