Description

The Colour Palettes Landscape range is part of Powdertech's commitment to offering colours that are a little bit different, thought provoking or interesting. Eight carefully selected colour palettes have been created using tones and textures to reflect different landscapes, both natural and man-made.

Features and benefits:

Defining eight different environments; coastal, terrain, urban, industrial, lowland, upland, sky and space.
Tones and textures in each palette share an affinity, creating a particular style.
High performance corrosion protection and weather resistance.
Excellent durability and colour stability.
All powders are Qualicoat Class 1 or class 2 approved.
Conform to BS EN 12206-1.
Resistance to boiling water, no blistering and no loss of adhesion.
Cylindrical mandrel bending, tested to ISO 1519, 5 mm mandrel, no cracking or detachment.

Gloss level	25—35%. At 60ᵒ (Smooth finish, matt). 55—70%. At 60ᵒ (satin). <10%. At 60ᵒ (texture).
Film thickness	>60 µm.
Adhesion	Rating 0. Dry adhesion cross hatch (ISO 2409) Rating 0, no coating detachment, wet adhesion (ISO 2409) after 1 hour pressure cooker rating 0, no detachment.
Sulphur dioxide resistance	24 cycles no infiltration. Exceeding 1mm from the scribe, no change in colour or blistering in excess of 2(S2) to ISO 4628-2.
Constant humidity resistance	1000 hours. To ISO 6272-2, <1mm scribe creep. No blistering in excess of 2(S2) to ISO 4628-2.
Impact resistance	No cracking or detachment. Tested to ISO 6272-2: Reverse Impact test.
Erichsen cupping	No cracking or detachment. Tested to ISO 1520 minimum 5 mm indent.
Permeability	No blistering or coating detachment.
Scratch resistance	E2 Pass. To BS 3900.
Pre-treatment	Aluminium: Titanium-zirconium (TiZr) non-chrome six-stage pre-treatment. Galvanized steel: Silane (oxsilan) non-chrome eight-stage pre-treatment. Not required/ other. Consult manufacturer for details for surfaces other than aluminium or galvanized steel.
