Catchment Cavity Trays
Description

Manufactured from injection moulded polypropylene, these preformed catchment trays are available for stepped and horizontal blockwork or stone details, as well as corner catchment details.

The products are supplied with or without lead attachment and are suitable for pitches 17.5 to 50°.

Manthorpe cavity trays have been assessed by the British Board of Agrèment.

- Type GW 293 Catchment Tray:

  • Designed to be located at the lowest point of an abutment and provided with upstands at both ends ensure that the water run off from the above trays is collected and safely diverted out of the wall.
  • A G950 Weep Vent / G951 Peep Weep must be used in conjunction with this tray.
  • Type GW 293 Catchment tray features an injection moulded mortar trap which ensures a clear water path, by reducing the risk of mortar droppings and other debris from blocking the tray.
  • The tray has a unique front mortar clip that can be removed at any time once the mortar has set leaving a 25 mm deep aperture into which the lead is inserted into and secured with lead wedges.
  • The GW 293 Catchment tray can be supplied unleaded or with short or long lead, stapled and sealed to the tray.
  • Suitable for pitches: 17.5 to 50°, up to 75 mm coursing.

- Type GW 293 BS RH Block / Stonework Catchment Tray Right Hand:

  • Designed for larger coursing heights, typically 150 mm or 225 mm in stone or blockwork and is located at the lowest point of an abutment.
  • Upstands at both ends ensure that the water run off from the above trays is collected and safely diverted out of the wall and the flexible perpend protector attached to the tray prevents driving rain penetrating the outer wall and tracking across the masonry.
  • A G950 Weep Vent / G951 Peep Weep must be used in conjunction with this tray.
  • The tray has a unique front mortar clip that can be removed at any time once the mortar has set leaving a 25 mm deep aperture into which the lead is inserted into and secured with lead wedges.
  • The GW 293 BS Catchment tray can be supplied unleaded or with short or long lead, stapled and sealed to the tray.

Type GW 293 CC BS RH Block / Stonework Corner Catchment Tray Right Hand:

  • Designed for larger coursing heights, typically 150 mm or 225 mm in stone or blockwork for situations where an abutment ends at a corner, to shield the corner from water entry, and where restricted space prevents the fitting of a standard catchment tray.
  • Upstands at both ends ensure that the water run off from the above trays is collected and safely diverted out of the wall and the flexible perpend protector attached to the tray prevents driving rain penetrating the outer wall and tracking across the masonry.

  • Designed for situations where an abutment ends at a corner, to shield the corner from water entry, and where restricted space prevents the fitting of a standard catchment tray and upstands at both ends ensure that the water run off from the above trays is collected and safely diverted out of the wall.
  • A G950 Weep Vent must be used in conjunction with this tray.
  • The tray includes a foam strip which is raked out exposing a 25 mm deep aperture into which the lead is inserted into and secured with lead wedges.
  • The GW 293 CC Corner Catchment tray can be supplied unleaded or with short or long lead, stapled and sealed to the tray.
  • Suitable for pitches: 17.5 to 50°.

- Type GW 293 CC LH Corner Catchment Tray Left Hand:

Specification as GW 293 CC RH above but left handed.
