Application

This product is suitable as an air and vapour control layer for installation over certain existing roof systems and all common deck substrates including profiled metal, following application of Bauder SA Bonding Primer, or Bauder Activator-Primer.

Description

A robust, self-adhesive SBS elastomeric bitumen air and vapour control layer, featuring a tear resistant aluminium foil lining for vapour impermeability, and a mica finished upper surface to allow easy bonding of insulation using the specified Bauder Insulation Adhesive. One side lap features an 80 mm wide glass fleece along the underside, and a 100 mm laminated strip above. The other side lap has a thermofusible film on the top surface. This arrangement ensures that laps are heat sealed using hot air or gas torch as appropriate to extrude a bitumen bead, thus ensuring waterproofing integrity.

Only to be used as part of a full Bauder Waterproofing System.
