Application

  • Ideal for fine finishing and levelling repairs on large vertical and overhead areas where fast setting properties with short over-coating times are needed.
  • Can be used as a blowhole filler within the precast industry or anywhere where minor defects in concrete structures have to be repaired. It can be applied inside and outside, on vertical and overhead surfaces, in dry and wet environments including balcony edges, facades, parapet walls, precast panels and beam edges.

Description

MasterEmaco N 5100 FC is a fast setting levelling mortar from 0.5–7 mm thickness for large areas. For small patch repair it can be applied up to 10 mm. It is a ready to use material to be applied by hand or trowel. When mixed with water it forms a mortar with an exceptional wide range of applications. The product is used for thin layer repairs, filling honeycombs and pinholes.

It contains special cements, well graded sands, carefully selected polymers and fibres to reduce shrinkage, providing excellent application properties and crack free surfaces.

Features and benefits:

  • Formulated with new nanotechnology to minimize shrinkage and crack tendency.
  • Superb application properties.
  • No slump mortar.
  • Excellent smoothing properties.
  • Fast setting: Can be over-coated in four hours.
  • Good strength development exceeding requirement of class R2 of EN 1504 (part 0033).
  • Light concrete coloured mortar.
  • Low modulus of elasticity.
  • Low chromate (Cr[VI] < 2 ppm).
  • Does not contain chlorides and is effectively self-curing.
  • CE marked.
