AXS 140 Combined AOV Smoke Ventilator and Roof Access Hatch

Colour:

White RAL 9010. Standard 40 µm polyester powder coat thickness.

Motor:

230 V AC, operated using a maintained supply from the fan control panel. The unit is complete with a 1.8 m flying lead.

Upstand/ Frame:

Thermally broken, 40 mm thick welded insulated and thermally broken aluminium. EN AW-6063 T6 (extrusion) and EN AW-3005 H14 (sheet) aluminium alloy.

Lid:

Thermally broken aluminium frame with continuous seals for excellent airtightness. Opens to 140° from the horizontal.

Controls:

Activation is by a 24 V DC linear actuator (drive in/ drive out), mounted on a pivoting carriage capable of opening the lid to the fire position of 140° from the horizontal within 60 seconds and of re-closing it.

Fixing:

Fixing flange for curb; installation angle must be at 0° (horizontal).

Technical properties:

• Reliability class: RE 1000 (10 000 cycles).

• Wind load: <1500 N/m².

• Snow load: <250 N/m².

• Resistance to heat: B 300.

• Low temperature class: T(-5).

• Resistance to fire (to BS EN 13501-1): E.

• U-value: <1.3 W/m²K (aluminium lid), <2.4 W/m²K (polycarbonate lid).

• Air permeability (to BS EN 12207): Class 4.

• Watertightness: Rain defence tested to 75 m/hr (at 13 m/sec).

• Sound insulation: <29 dB R'w.
