Application

Suitable for use in applications where neither bar can be rotated.
Also for use as a closer between two fixed bars.

Description

The tapered thread positional coupler comprises of a male section with an internal tapered thread and an extended external parallel thread; a female section with a parallel thread and a tapered thread, both of which are internal; and a locking nut to secure the connection when the correct degree of adjustability has been achieved.

Features and benefits:

Tested and approved by UK CARES to show compliance with the requirements of BS EN 1992-1-1: 2004 (Eurocode 2) and BS 8110.
The most common sizes have been tested and approved by the DIBt and are covered by Approval No. Z-1.5-179.

All components, including the locknut, must be tightened using a torque wrench.
