Description

Airbrick 1201 is used with appropriate associated accessories in external walls to provide underfloor ventilation below suspended ground floors, or ventilation to the building interior.

Airbrick features:

  • Unique stepped front grille greatly reduces the entry of wind driven rain.
  • Integral clip together facility allows multiple airbricks to be stacked to form 215 x 150 mm (9 x 6 inch) and 215 x 215 mm (9 x 9 inch) sizes.
  • Very tough and robust.
  • Durable and resistant to decay.
  • Satisfies NHBC requirements.

1201 - Telescopic cranked underfloor vent, features:

  • Telescopic, sliding upper and lower halves, adjustable for a step of 3 to 5 brick courses (225 to 375 mm).
  • Colour - black.

1202-1/ 1202-2 and 1202-3 - Cavity sleeves, features:

  • Used with single or multiple stacked air bricks to provide ventilation through external walls.
  • Lightweight and easy to handle.
  • Durable and totally resistant to decay.
  • Satisfies NHBC Standards.

1203 - Horizontal front extension sleeve, features:

  • Installed between the back of an air brick and upper half of the telescopic cranked vent, to accommodate walls of more than 102.5 mm thickness up to a maximum of 215 mm (provides an extension of 115 mm).
  • Colour - black.

1204 - Vertical extension sleeve, features:

Installed between the upper and lower halves of the cranked vent to accommodate a vertical step of more than 5 brick courses (375 mm). The addition of multiple units provides rises as follows:

  • 1 unit 6 to 7 brick courses (450 to 525 mm).
  • 2 units 8 to 9 brick courses (600 to 675 mm).
  • 3 units 10 to 11 brick courses (750 to 825 mm).
  • 4 units 12 to 13 brick courses (900 to 975 mm).

1205 - Duct adaptor, features:

  • Installed over the lower rear opening of the cranked vent or horizontal rear extension unit to provide a connection via a coupling connection to a circular 110 mm internal diameter plastics underground drainage pipe.
  • Colour - black.

1206 - Horizontal rear extension sleeve, features:

  • Installed over the lower rear opening of the cranked vent, providing an extension of 100 mm for each unit.
  • Multiple units may be used to provide required extension.
  • Colour - black.

External cowls, features:

Installed over airbricks to help reduce draughts caused by wind blasts.
