Acoustray Perimeter acoustic and fire rated cavity stop
Acoustic, fire rated perimeter cavity stop.
Acoustray is an acoustic, fire rated perimeter cavity stop, with integral drainage tray, for use in reducing flanking noise transmission between floor levels and external wall junctions.
Asctape, polyband strip is used to join cavity stop units.
Features:
- Saves installation problems due to its ability to be installed independently to the internal wall.
- No secondary fixing required.
- No break in insulation, no cold bridging.
- Includes a unique fixing flange with drain holes which eliminates the need for external weeps.
- Acts as formwork for floated screeds on beam floor construction.
- Ideal for refurbishment work as only the outer leaf requires to be removed to install, without the need to fix to inner leaf.
- Complies with Robust Details edition 2 (Jan 2005).
