150W Combymat for Laminate
Application

Suitable for internal use beneath floating laminate and engineered board flooring. It is compatible with:

  • Thermostats.
  • Combymat insulation boards.
  • Structural thermal insulation boards.

Not suitable for use in wet areas such as bathrooms and wetrooms.

Aluminium tape must be used to cover any loose cables and also to secure the mats.

Heat Mat's 6 mm Combymat insulation layer must be installed beneath the system. If there is a risk of moisture rising from the floor below, a damp proof membrane beneath the insulation layer must be installed.

Heating mats must always be controlled by a suitable electric underfloor heating thermostat, with floor temperature limitation. Consult manufacturer for information.

Description

An earth shielded, versatile, underfloor heating mat designed for use beneath laminate and engineered board flooring of 10–22 mm thickness, without the requirement for covering with levelling compounds or moisture barriers. Features an aluminium heat dissipation layer, which creates an even heat spread across the whole floor.

Features and benefits:

  • Tongue and groove click system is used as the joining mechanism.
  • Designed to provide the sole source of heating in most rooms.
  • Features a dual conductor system, with one power lead per heating mat, enabling simple installation.
  • The aluminium heat dissipation layer has been designed to spread the heat away from the cable.
  • Almost 100% efficient at converting electricity into heat. Can be powered by locally generated electricity from photovoltaic or wind powered sources.
  • Supplied with 6 mm insulation, providing good thermal properties and acoustic performance.
  • Pre-spaced heating cable for uniform heat output.
  • Simple cut-and-turn design ensures quick installation.
  • Multiple units can be combined. The mats are wired into the thermostat or junction box in parallel.
  • Once installed, the system benefits from earth shielding for safety.
  • A range of sizes can be mixed and matched to ensure a seamless fit.
  • Requires no additional earthing.
  • Suitable for integration into a home/ building automation system.
  • Forms an energy efficient system when used with Heat Mat's thermostats – consult manufacturer for details.
  • Overlay boards are available, enabling the heating mats to be used beneath carpet, vinyl, linoleum and bonded floor coverings, without requiring any wet trade.
  • Supplied with a lifetime warranty.
  • Compliant with 18th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations.
  • CE marked, and manufactured in accordance with EN 60335-2-96.
