Application
Suitable for public realm, crowded places and pedestrian areas where vehicles are not permitted. Terra bollards have been proven to stop vehicles, providing HVM, counter terrorist, impact-resistant barriers preventing vehicle as a weapon attacks. For the International PAS 68 Impact tested bollards to be installed in accordance with PAS 69, bollards should be installed with 1200 mm between upright bollard faces.
Description
A manually operated bollard shallow depth side folding rising/ retractable hostile vehicle mitigation (HVM) Terra bollard that has been impact tested to the British PAS 68 Specification, stopping a 7.5 tonne vehicle travelling at 30 mph resulting in zero penetration. The bollard is manually operated using a manual handpump. The rising, retractable bollard is twinned with a static, removable unit. PAS 68 Classification Code: V/7500[N2]/48/90:0.0/1.5. A BSi PAS 68 certified side folding bollard.
