Description
A stainless steel helical wall tie to be hammer driven into a correctly sized pilot hole drilled in the existing masonry, and the outer end of the tie is bedded in the mortar joint in the new outer leaf. Cavity insulation can be secured to the inner wall leaf using an Insulation Retaining clip fitted over the tie.
Movement joints can be created by fitting a debonding sleeve over one end of the tie.
