Thermoguard Wallcoat Insulating Basecoat

Insulating basecoat for wallcoat anti-microbial SFR smoke and flame retardant fire protection upgrade systems for painted and multi-layer painter walls and ceilings.

• Compliant with BS EN 13501, B-s1,d0 spread of flame on walls and ceilings including surfaces coated with high risk multiple layers of paint.
• Can be used as part of a system to achieve 30 or 60 minute fire resistance.

• Tintable to undercoat shades.
• Finished system make walls anti-viral and anti-bacterial - both with +90% efficacy.
• Finished system forms a smooth aesthetically pleasing, durable finish resistant to repeated cleaning to internal walls and ceilings.
• Once the works are complete the relevant certification can be applied for via the Thermoguard website.
• Tested to UKAS and EOTA fire standards.

Application:

•  All surfaces must be clean and dry. Remove all possible surface contaminates such as grease, smoke residues, silicates.
• Can be brush and roller applied using woven fabric roller sleeves and synthetic bristle brushes or spray applied using a pressure pot and gun conventional unit with small compressor.
• Apply one coat of Thermoguard Wallcoat Insulating Basecoat, to be overcoated with Wallcoat Anti-Microbial Smoke and Flame Retardant. 
• Apply at rate stated on can or specification to protect surfaces and enable project certification.
