Mapecem

Special fast setting hydraulic binder for the preparation of fast-drying screeds with controlled shrinkage.

Mapecem is used for the formation of bonded, unbonded and floating screeds on both existing and new slabs for the installation of humidity-sensitive floors (wood, PVC, linoleum, carpet, rubber) or any other flooring where fast-drying and rapid laying is required. It must always be mixed with graded aggregates. Bonded screeds (from to 10 mm thicknesses) and patching first require the application of a Mapecem and Planicrete anchoring slurry. For unbonded screeds (at least 35 mm thicknesses) lay a polyethylene sheet before hand.
