FR3 - 120 Fire Rated Through The Wall Mailbox - Fire Rated Through the Wall Mailbox

Fire rated 3 mailbox suitable for through the wall mail processing (front entry and rear retrieval). The fire rated FR3 mailbox has been developed in association with Exova Warrington to become the first company to achieve full fire rating (two hour integrity only) to BS EN 1363-1: 2012.

Fire rated mailboxes includes a number of specially designed features to meet fire rating standards BS EN 1363-1: 2012 which outline fire testing on building structures. The lock included in fire rated products uses a fire cover which limits the access to the mailbox lock.

The fire rated 3 mailbox flap uses an inward sprung hinge to stop the flap from falling out of the box and the mailbox aperture uses an intumescent seal which expands when exposed to a large increase in temperature; closing the gap and restricting the flow of oxygen into the mailbox.
