Bed Joint Reinforcement Ladder - Welded Ladder Type

Range of ladders to increase the rigidity of masonry panels by introducing steel into the bed joint of the wall.

Feature and benefits:

Vista Weld 3 Ladder/ Vista Weld Ladder/ Vista Weld 5 Ladder:

• Welded ladder type bed joint reinforcement with 3, 3.5 or 5 mm outer wires (VW3, VW and VW5 respectively).
• Designed to provide additional strength to single leaf masonry in areas of need including long walls spans, beam support, deflecting floor decks, stack bonded masonry, lintels and openings.
• Generally used as a structural product, also suitable for crack control.
• Available in stainless steel grade 304 S15 and in numerous widths to suit any brick and block thickness.
• Conforms to BS 5628 : Part 2 2000.
• Also available in galvanized steel, consult manufacturer for details.

Vista Tie Span:

• Designed for use in double-leaf collar joint walls, and can reduce the problems on site with heavy blocks, using 2 x 100 mm blocks tied together with Tie Span to replace a 215 mm block. This method of construction also gives the wall a six-hour fire rating.
• Manufactured from stainless steel as standard with 4 mm or 3.5 mm main longitudinal wires with 20 mm flat cross ties. Each length is 2700 mm long x 175 mm wide.
• Galvanized steel available.

Double Vista Weld:

• A welded structural ladder type masonry reinforcement used to reinforce both leaves of a cavity wall.
• Manufactured in stainless steel grade 304 S15, 3.5 mm main longitudinal wires with 3.6 mm cross wires (with a drip).
• Each length is 2700 mm long and is available in numerous widths to suit individual design requirements.

Bed reinforcement range also includes coil mesh for crack control (specified separately).
