ASF Buckingham Recycled Cast Iron Post and Rail System

The Buckingham is a traditionally style cast iron post that makes up a family of post and rail and post and panel options.

Most commonly used as 2 and 3 rail, post an rail systems, this can also be set up with a sight gap and panel to become a pedestrian guardrail, a full height panel or supplied as a short post to become a knee rail system.

Manufactured from 100% recycled cast iron as standard, these posts are also 100% recyclable, and cast iron loses no volume or property during these processes meaning that they can be recycled indefinitely.

With incredible longevity (cast iron posts should last in excess of 100 years in normal use, even if left uncoated) these cast iron posts (alongside other recycled cast posts from ASF) meet many important environmental criteria.

These posts have also been used in schemes where they meet 3kN loading, the highest requirement for any standard balustrade application.

These posts can also be manufactured in any grade of ductile (SG) iron giving them excellent ram raid protection qualities.

This is an adaptable family of posts that already meets a huge array of needs, but we can also manufacture matching or complimentary gates, adapt posts to be taller or shorter, make the posts suitable for all gradients including step units, or cast them to accept chains, rope swages or timber rails.
