500m2 of Shuluvit panels in 7-601 format in A-9-1 (Oak) stained Yellow Pine were installed to the ceiling of the swimming pool area at Orchard Brae Complex Needs School near Aberdeen.

The Shiluvit panels are a stunning feature of the swimming pool area in addition to providing acoustic dampening to the bright and open space; the panels were also finished with a humidity resistant lacquer to protect the ceiling against the damp environment and ensure quality and stability for the life cycle of the product.

In addition to education facilities for up to 150 pupils the brand new £18.5m Centre of Excellence, the campus is a community hub for families, groups, and charities working with children and adults with additional support needs; the facility houses sensory rooms, working gardens, specialist home economics teaching spaces, and play facilities as well as being a base for local outreach speech and language services.
