Bespoke Manifestation at Luton Airport

By printing onto optically clear film, The Window Film recreated a stunning run of intricate graphics for a premises based at Luton airport. It was decided that the manifestation should take the form of a sketched-effect London skyline and it was agreed that the best way of reproducing the graphics would be to print the design using a frosted effect onto optically clear film. This method allows for the creation of incredibly intricate graphics in perfect detail. By printing on and installing optically clear film, only the printed area is visible, giving the impressive impression of a cut graphic.

Coloured Film for the Now Gallery

The Window Film Company was involved in the creation of an eye-catching exhibition at a prominent London gallery. The project involved the installation of coloured film to three large panes of glass, providing the backdrop to an exhibition by up and coming star of the London fashion scene, Molly Goddard. Yellow, pink and orange film was applied to three panels, each measuring 7 metres in height and 2.5 metres in width. The transparent nature of the film means that while the appearance of the glass is changed, the view from both sides of the glass is maintained.

External Solar Control Film for NHS Building

This two storey premises features a predominantly glass front elevation and while the glazing provided welcome natural light and a view to the exterior, it also resulted in excess glare, making the internal environment unduly uncomfortable. The Window Film Company was engaged to provide a solution, using a specialist external solar control film to alleviate the issue. An external application was required as no internal access was available, with the chosen film reducing glare by up to 77% whilst allowing good levels of natural light to pass through the glass and without blocking the view to the exterior.

Full colour print on external vinyl for McLaren's London showroom

When motorsport giants McLaren announced they were to open a showroom in London, there was worldwide excitement. Understandably, McLaren were keen to complete the showroom fit-out in privacy and The Window Film Company were engaged to provide a solution. Privacy was ensured by printing a bespoke set of designs onto external grade white vinyl, which was then fitted to the windows at the showroom, housed at the prestigious One Hyde Park development. John Lewis Wall Graphics and Office Fit-Out

When a well-known department store undertook an extensive office refurbishment programme, they required a number of decorative and practical solutions including glass manifestation, signage, & the decorating of surfaces and doors. The Window Film Company was able to help with each element. Office Branding for Hotel Group

A leading hotel chain approached The Window Film Company to incorporate branding throughout their premises. The project saw the office transformed to feature bright and engaging graphics throughout, giving the office a clear and striking sense of identity. Digital wallpaper was agreed the appropriate solution and using graphics supplied by the client, The Window Film Company’s in-house graphics and design team prepared and printed each panel on state of the art UV print equipment. The result was a space that looks and feels bright and vibrant, one befitting of one of the biggest companies in the leisure industry.

Printed Frosted Window Film for Office Internal Glass Partitions

With clients and offices across the globe, appearance and identity is of vital importance to marketing, communications and research experts Truth. They recognise that the working environment is a space that should be inspirational and conducive to creativity and in working alongside The Window Film Company, they made sure their London office is exactly that. Truth’s brand identity includes an intricate combination of sketched drawings including beautifully illustrated plants and animals, and it was this fabulous detail that was to form the basis of this exciting project.

Printed Graphics for Oxford United FC

The Window Film Company was approached by Oxford United FC to print and install floor to ceiling graphics throughout the tunnel area at the Kassam Stadium. The graphics featured custom-created action shots of each Oxford United player and were printed onto lightweight boards using The Window Film Company’s Oce Arizona flatbed printer. Once created, the boards were installed over a two day period, the dynamic nature of the graphics completely transforming arguably the most important part of the stadium. He project ensured that the tunnel area exuded a professional and inspirational feel with an unmistakable sense of identity.

Printed Graphics on External Vinyl for Hauser & Wirth

Since being established in 1992, Hauser & Wirth has shot to prominence as an internationally acclaimed gallery, displaying contemporary art and modern masters. The gallery now has permanent homes in Switzerland, New York and London and is currently celebrating twenty years at the forefront of the art world. To commemorate the twentieth anniversary, Hauser & Wirth wanted to turn the windows of their Savile Row gallery into an external exhibition, displaying an array of striking images.

Printed Signage and Glass Manifestation for Westminster University

Having been established in 1998, The Window Film Company was delighted to be invited to carry out a project at a much older institution – the 174 year old Westminster University. The University, originally founded in 1838 as Britain’s first polytechnic, required manifestation on a significant section of glazing, as well as way-finding signage to enable easy navigation of the maze of hallways, corridors and numerous rooms.

The Window Film Company were asked to help with providing a bespoke privacy solution for motorsport giants McLaren for their new exclusive showroom at One Hyde Park, London. When McLaren announced the launch of its brand new supercar, the MP4-12C, it was clear it was a very special vehicle. It was also clear that it was going to require a very special showroom.

Safety Film for Glass - Client BBMV / Crossrail Project

The crossrail project is the biggest construction undertaking in Europe, with over 7,000 people working on creating a new rail link under the busy streets of London. Some of the drilling took place in relative proximity to residential areas, and as a precautionary measure it was decided to apply safety film to a number of nearby properties. The Window Film Company fitted 100 Micron Safety Film; a clear film that when professionally installed brings glazing up to safety standard, meeting the BS EN 12600 standard. This safety film ensures that if the glass does break, it does so safely.

Solar Control Film for New College Swindon

Following a relocation and a £10million development programme, it was found that the impressive facilities at New College, Swindon suffered from uncomfrotably high temperatutres. The Window Film Company was engaged to help. An examination of the facility revealed the issue. Over 100 large glass windows proved the facility with acontemporary, modern appearance whilst also creating light, airy spaces inside, but on bright days the sun was streaming through the glass, causing the rooms within to steadily heat up.
